Olena Komleva . A Practical Framework for Improving Enterprise Software Development Efficiency using Jakarta EE and Modern JavaScript Frameworks. International Journal of Applied Information Systems. 13, 5 ( Oct 2026), 14-20. DOI=10.5120/ijais625417d587c4
This article examines practical approaches to raising development efficiency in enterprise software projects that couple Jakarta EE backend technologies with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue. The work addresses four persistent obstacles in distributed full-stack systems: architectural inconsistency, asynchronous data exchange, duplicated validation logic, and prolonged release cycles. The study rests on a structured synthesis of twenty contemporary academic and industrial sources covering enterprise application engineering, service-oriented architectures, and frontend to backend integration practice. The analysis isolates the factors that govern development productivity, namely interface contract management, state synchronization mechanisms, and API design consistency. On that basis the article proposes an applied evaluation model for backend to frontend integration efficiency, allowing development teams to locate architectural bottlenecks and select implementation strategies that minimize coordination overhead. The results indicate that systematic use of typed API contracts, automated schema validation, and standardized communication layers improves maintainability, reduces integration defects, and shortens development iteration cycles in enterprise software projects. In the evaluated scenario, mean sprint duration fell by 33.6 percent and integration defects per sprint by 84.9 percent.
